Fomenko freed from the payment of 65 million rubles loan for the “Marusya”

On Friday, July 8, the Moscow city court has closed the case on recovery of the presenter and co-founder of Marussia Motors Nikolay Fomenko 64,5 million rubles. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

In 2011, Bank Petrocommerce, which is now called “FC Opening”, issued Fomenko loan of 60 million rubles for the development of sports car brand Marussia. As a guarantor on the loan showman was made by Anton Kolesnikov.

In the summer of 2015, the Bank has addressed in court with the claim about collecting of the loan amount and interest on it. In mid-March 2016, the Tver court of Moscow ordered Fomenko and Kolesnikova to pay 64,5 million rubles in favor of “FC Opening”, however, the defendants opposed the satisfaction of the requirements of the Bank. In particular, their representatives said that the signatures on banking documents are fake, but the examination confirmed their authenticity.

Now the Moscow city court has closed the case as a credit institution has transferred the right of claim under a loan agreement Paul Gubino, who refused all claims.

The company Marussia Motors was founded in 2007. She developed sports cars B1 and B2, which differ only in body shape. Models were equipped with the units of the company Cosworth: 2.8-liter 340-strong “turbosystems” and 3.5-liter six-cylinder aspirated power 300 HP.

Bankruptcy Marussia became known in the spring of 2014. Then it was reported that the total debt of the automaker is more than 100 million rubles.
