The British want a second referendum: more than 2 million votes

The petition on the website of the UK Parliament on holding a second referendum on EU membership has gained more than 2 million signatures, although for the consideration of the Parliament pretty much 100 thousand a petition was on the website of the UK Parliament.

As of 21:15 the petition was signed by 2 million 121 thousand people.

Recall that the authors of the petition argue that there should be a second referendum if the result is less than 60%, and the turnout is less than 75%.

Note, as of 13:00 on June 25 was 140 thousand signatures.

The Parliament replied that it would consider the petition, because it gained more than 100 thousand votes.

As reported UNN, Chairman of the counting Commission on the referendum in the UK Jenny Watson had announced the official results of the referendum, according to which 51,9% of the population voted for the country’s withdrawal from the European Union.
