German artist creates interesting sculptures out of old junk.
German artist Martin Genesove creates miniature models of antique cars, but in a special way. Instead of chrome bumpers, shiny glass, lacquered surface of the body Martin uses junk from the garbage, rusted metal and plastic many years ago.
All in order to build incredibly realistic, detailed model of the car, which if successfully rusting somewhere in the woods the last twenty years. The collection consists of models from Porsche, Jaguar and Citroen.
Craze 53-year-old Heesbeen began in the 1970s, when his brother was involved in the restoration of vehicles to their work. After repair remained a pile of parts – the old, crumpled and useless. Martin has collected them in his garage, cut, glued, welded. As a result, after months of meticulously painstaking work was “man-made junk”, which is on the pictures is impossible to distinguish from the real, rusty on the side of the forest in a natural way.
Martin builds no more than 2 or 3 cars a year, each done at least 4 months. Today he has orders from all over the world, and its rusty works are worth 25 thousand euros.
