In the Kurgan region for the first quarter of the current year, the population decreased by 1,800 people. This was due to the natural decline of the population (55,5%) and migration (44,5%). Such data on the demographic situation in January—March published Kuranstalt, the correspondent “URA.Ru”.
As of April 1 of the current year in the region, there were 860,1 thousands of residents. The highest population decline was registered in Lebyazh, Mishkinskogo and Shatrovskiy areas. The population growth is observed only in Zverinogolovskoe district and in the town of Petukhovo. Earlier, it also grew in numbers chastoozerye.
The birth rate in the Urals in January—March decreased by 0.6 premilling points and amounted to 12.3 births per thousand of the population. The number of deaths in the region exceeded the number of births by 1.4 times.
Among the most frequent causes of death register system diseases of the circulatory system (35.8 per cent), neoplasms (15.9 per cent) and external causes (9.6 per cent). The last recorded suicide (21.9 percent), hypothermia and accidental alcohol poisoning (12,4%), transport injury (9.2 percent), homicide (7.2 per cent).
For January—March have migrated from the Kurgan region 12.5 thousand people. This number is lower compared to the same period in 2015 by 37.8%.
