Middle East North Africa region is characterized as the most conservative region: according to polls, 74 % of residents believe that the primary role of women is to care of your husband. 54% of men living in the middle East, believe that “a woman’s place is home”.

Even in a democratic Tunisia, more than half of men (53%) find ladies who Express themselves openly in society, “unattractive”. They echo the Egyptians (53%) and Moroccans (52%) and Algerians (55%), confident that a woman who expresses an opinion publicly, not worthy to be called beautiful.

Surprisingly, in the UK, Germany and France, the percentage of men who share this opinion varies between 14% and 17%. At the same time, the study helped to identify the country where the principles of gender equality find more respect for women’s emancipation are the Swedes, Finns and Danes.
