The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin announced the new list of objects of unauthorized construction to be demolished. The mayor said during the meeting of the Presidium of the city government, reports the Agency “Moscow”.
“The city continues to be free from hazardous squatter. I beg to bring to the owners of the objects of today’s decision, to assist tenants in finding new retail space. Moreover, the lack of them in the city does not exist. Today, more than three million square feet of retail space not occupied”, — said Sobyanin.
In the mayor’s office added that a new list of objects for the demolition came in 107 buildings, located on the engineering communications, as well as in zones with special regime of use.
On 23 June, the media reported on the preparation of a new list of unauthorized construction being dismantled. The list included 184 of the object. Later that same day, the head of the state Inspectorate for real estate Sergey Sokurov stated that the information on this list is untrue.
On February 25 the state Inspectorate for control of use of objects of real estate of Moscow announced the beginning of preparation of the list of “second wave” of the objects that were to be demolished. It was explained that its preparation may take several months.
In Moscow on the night of 9 February began the demolition of unauthorized construction. The decision on the elimination of 104 buildings constructed without a permit or in violation of town planning rules was adopted Moscow government in December 2015. The dismantling was carried out near the metro stations “Chistye Prudy”, “Taganskaya”, “Schelkovskaya”, “guerrilla”, “Falcon” on the streets lyusinovskaya, Marxist and other. Then Sobyanin explained that, freeing capital territory from illegal constructions, the authorities aim to make Moscow a safe, beautiful, comfortable and modern.
