Snowden hopes for pardon from Obama

A former employee of the Central intelligence Agency(CIA) and national security Agency USA Edward Snowden, who released classified information to U.S. intelligence, urged President Barack Obama to pardon him.

“If not for these revelations, if not for these revelations, all would be worse. Yes, there are laws written in the books where it says one, but maybe that’s why there is a right to pardon (…) as an exception for such cases, which may seem illegal on paper. If you look at them from a moral and ethical sides to look at their results, it would appear that they were necessary,” said Snowden to the British newspaper The Guardian in a video interview from Moscow.

Snowden also said that he is ready to sit in an American jail.

As we know, former CIA officer three years living in Russia. According to media reports, last year, the White house rejected a petition to pardon Snowden, which was signed by more than 150 thousand people.
