Sberbank said that he is in Turkey and Ukraine, “all is well”

Сбербанк заявил, что у него в Турции и на Украине "всё хорошо"

The Chairman of the Board of the largest Russian credit organizations assured that the cooling of relations between the two countries had no impact on the business.

Sberbank is not considering the sale of its subsidiaries in Ukraine and Turkey. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Board of the largest credit organizations of Russia Alexander Morozov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF).

“Ukraine continues to work as our “daughter”, all is well. If we wanted something (to change), we would have done,” said Morozov.

As for Turkey, the issue is not even considered. According to Morozov, the cooling of relations between Turkey and Russia did not affect the business of the savings Bank. In castrati, a Turkish subsidiary of the Bank shows good profitability.

“They completely fulfill all its plans, show more than 14% return on equity, and we are totally satisfied with how they work”, — said Morozov.

Earlier foreign media, citing sources in banking circles announced that it is considering a sale of its Turkish subsidiary DenizBank. Soon, the Deputy Chairman of Sberbank Svetlana Sagaidak has denied these rumors.
