Saxo Bank: oil price in the next 5 years will not rise above $60

Saxo Bank: цена на нефть в ближайшие 5 лет не поднимется выше $60

The price of a barrel of oil will fluctuate in the range of $32-60 within the next 1-5 years, predicts the chief economist of international Finance company of Saxo Bank Steen Jacobson.

“My prediction: in one to five, maybe six years the price of oil will fluctuate in a wide range 32-60 dollars per barrel”, — said the expert, whose words leads portal Banki.ru.

According to the economist, the price of a barrel of “black gold” may soon descend again to confirm what had been the bottom was indeed a bottom.

As recalled by the expert Larson&Holz Olga Pass, world oil prices this morning “showed a positive trend, but began to decline in the background thundered in Brussels explosions”.

At the same time, she says, “quotes are still kept around 41, which is the maximum of this month”. “From the point of view of technical analysis, if not there will be additional catalysts, the prices will enter a stage of correction and will tend to the level of $ 35 per barrel”, — said in comments the expert.

For its part, the senior analyst “Alpari” Anna Bodrov noted that “Qatar is actively working on the organization of the April meeting in Doha oil producers who agree with freezing the raw material extraction from the January levels”.

“The approximate number of participants to fifteen, as it was known earlier. Russia has already received an official invitation, but the Russian oil producers have nothing to reduce. If you start from discussing options daily pumping oil, we will be able even to increase production”, — the expert believes.

She recalls that today, the API will present data on stocks of oil and oil products, and tomorrow a similar release will release the U.S. Department of energy.
