Samsung has demonstrated very good results in Russia for the second quarter of the current quarter, taking first place in terms of revenue from sales of their smartphones. In this plan it ahead of even Apple, although the experts were convinced that the first place will get it.
As of the end of July of this year, Samsung was 29.2% of smartphone market of our country in monetary terms, whereas Apple Empire captured only 27.2 percent. As noted by analysts, the success of the Korean vendor is directly connected with a proper and elaborate credit campaign. All this has helped to attract new buyers, even those who previously had not thought about buying a Samsung because of their high cost in comparison with analogues.
Note that among the reasons for the success of Samsung in Russia of new models, and for good reason — the catalog of the Korean manufacturer is not updated as often as the list of smartphones from Chinese Xiaomi. We also recall that a year ago, the Samsung smartphone has ceased to be sold in several major distribution network due to the increased number of marriage. However, on the Samsung it has had almost no impact: according to the statistics, 100 percent of all sold in the first half of this year in Russia smartphones 21 percent had mobile phones of the Samsung brand.
