Samsung Electronics is working on developing chip Exynos 7 Dual 7270, which will be the first processor for wearable devices. It will be created on a 14-nanometer FinFET process.
As reported by Samsung, the Exynos 7 Dual 7270 would be of high performance and low power consumption. In addition, the chip is equipped with two cores Cortex-A53 that allows the watch to connect to the network without the use of a smartphone. Also supports Wi Fi and Bluetooth, location-based services, including GLONASS.
Exynos 7270 can provide more functionality when compared with their predecessors. Samsung is going to use his development in wearable electronics with enhanced performance.
The first chips based on Exynos 7270 the company will release no earlier than 2017.
