Russia’s revenues from oil and gas fell by another third

Russia’s revenues from oil exports decreased in the first quarter of 2016 by 38% and amounted to 14,093 billion. This is stated in the message of Federal customs service of Russia.

The volume of exported oil increased in the first three months by 4.6% to of 61.95 million tons. Revenues from exports to the far abroad decreased in the first quarter of 2016 to 13.1 billion dollars compared to 21.3 billion dollars for the same period in 2015. Revenues from oil supplies to CIS countries amounted to about 1 billion dollars compared to 1,399 billion a year earlier.

In the first three months of 2016 in the CIS countries were exported 56 million tonnes in the near – 5.9 million tons of oil.

At the same time, Gazprom’s revenues from gas exports fell by 29 percent and amounted to 8,515 billion. However, during this period, the concern increased the export of gas by 18 percent to 51.1 billion cubic meters.

Note, the average price of Russian Urals oil in the first months of this year amounted to 29,69 per barrel, which is 1.7 times less than in the same period of 2015.
