In the Public chamber of Russia held a conference of the Russian Association for the promotion of science (RASN), during which scientists discussed various advantages in science, the relationship between generations, as well as interdisciplinarity. In RAN believe that experts should be involved in any important research projects, involving economic and social factors. In the development of science and technology should participate and young people to strengthen the connection between generations.
Not only Russian scientists believe that there is a problem of a generational gap, but the same opinion is shared by foreign experts. The forum participants believe that Russian science should be more specialists, whose age ranges from 25 to 45 years.
Russian scientists, using the live webcast, held for students seminar on nanotechnology. At the conference with scientific reports were made by young specialists. Public organization of RSN was established in 2011 for the development of science. The head of the organization is academician Evgeny Velikhov.
