Russian cars are equipped with “black boxes”

Russian cars soon will be equipped with “black boxes”. The proposal was made by the Government. In the opinion of the Cabinet, it should kardinalno to solve the question of the observance by drivers of traffic regulations.

For normal operation of the system will create a “unified state, the transmission medium of the navigation information obtained from tachographs and other technical devices with measuring functions” or EHSNI. The basis for it will be the system ERA-GLONASS, which in any case will be set from 2020 on all new cars. The plan of actions on formation of EHSNI already asked to form the Ministry of industry, Ministry of transport, Ministry of economic development, the Ministry of communications and the state-owned company “GLONASS”.

If the authorities all goes according to plan, the “black boxes” can start to be built into all new cars from 2020, reported IA “SeverInform” with reference to “Izvestia”.
