Russia in January cut oil exports by more than 13%

Oil exports from Russia by the end of January 2016 fell by 2.3% yoy and by 13.4% in December 2015, amounting to 19.2 million tons. Such data results the Federal service of state statistics (Rosstat).

During the reporting period, for processing in Russia came to 23.9 million tonnes of oil, which is 4% lower yoy and 5.3% — compared to December of last year.

The specific weight of oil export in the total volume of Russian exports in January amounted to 25.3% in exports of fuel and energy goods — 38.7 per cent (previous year: 28% and 39.1%, respectively).

According to the Rosstat, in January 2016, the average actual export price for oil was $230,3 per ton (82% by December 2015). The price on world markets of the Russian export Urals oil was $209,9 per ton (78.9 percent by December).
