China in September 2016, increased its imports of oil from Angola by 46% yoy to 4.19 million tons, resulting in the African country ahead of Iraq, Russia and Saudi Arabia, coming in first place for the supply of fuel to China.
According to the General administration of customs of China, Iraq in the past month, China has put a record of 4.07 million tons of oil (plus 58%) and took second place on this indicator, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
Meanwhile, purchases of oil in Russia, passed from the first to the third place, fell in September by 2.1% yoy and 14.6% compared to August to 3.96 million tons.
Oil imports from Saudi Arabia fell by 1.3% to 3.8 million tons, the lowest since November 2015.
Supply from Iran rose by 18%, to 2.02 million tons.
In total China imported in September 33,06 million tons of oil, which is 18.3% more than during the same month last year.
