American firefighter was in the hospital after being bitten by severed snake head

Firefighter Kyle Watson of spring hill, Tennessee, was in the hospital in serious condition after he was bitten by the decapitated head of a rattlesnake.
According to “Tape.ru” referring to the TV station WTVF, the incident occurred when a local resident went camping with my family. While walking through the woods his wife almost stepped on a snake. The man just in case he decided to cut off the head of grovel, and then reached out to the body of the snake to show to her children. At this moment he received the wound.
Some time later, he fainted and fell and hit his head on a rock. It is worth noting that the fire has swollen throat and lips.
Already in hospital the doctors decided that he would be alive, however, as Watson is estimated as critical.
