Qatar’s QNB expects oil prices in 2017 to $55 per barrel

Gulf Times today, October 9, announced that Qatar QNB expects oil prices in 2017 to $55 per barrel. In particular, it is expected the continuation of the rebalancing of the oil market.

Experts Qatari Bank QNB announced the confirmation of this forecast, which previously appeared in the media regarding the alleged oil prices in 2017. So, in 2016 prices will remain around $45 per barrel, the average price in 2017 will amount to us $55 per barrel, and in 2018 is expected to grow to $58 per barrel, according to QNB.

Also QNB Bank specialists pointed to the fact that the rebalancing of the oil market might be postponed until 2017, which is associated with the decision of OPEC to limit oil production, which trimmed the IEA’s warning about the weakening of the indicators of the oil market.

In addition, analysts suggest that OPEC members will maintain a record level of oil production while the agreement to limit production will take effect.
