Vladimir Putin in connection with which took place during the night of July 16, an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected government of Turkey stressed the principled line of Russia on the categorical prohibition in the state unconstitutional actions and violence. Recep Erdogan passed condolences on numerous human casualties among civilians and representatives of law enforcement, confronted the conspirators, and wishes for a speedy recovery sustainable constitutional order and stability in Turkey.
The President of Russia noted that after the lifting of restrictive measures, the number of Russian tourists in Turkey have increased substantially, and expressed hope that the Turkish side in the current difficult conditions will, to the maximum extent to ensure their safety. Erdogan stressed that all the necessary steps in this regard will be taken.
The heads of States confirmed the agreement reached during the previous phone conversation the agreement on carrying out in the near future personal meeting.
