Updated model of the Lexus IS celebrating its European debut at the motor show in Paris.
For the 2017 model year, Lexus has decided to stay true to the bold design of the previous model, but updated it on several fronts.
For a start, there was an updated front panel now incorporates lights in a slightly different form, the revised version of the front spindle grille and a different bumper with large air intakes. The model IS now includes functional brake channels on both sides.
Otherwise, the appearance of the model has been updated new 16-, 17 – and 18-inch wheels, as well as the reconstructed character lines stretching the length of the car. Changes at the rear include new taillights, and rectangular chrome exhaust pipes. In Europe in the palette the color of the car was added color Deep Blue Mica and Graphite Black.
The engine range remains unchanged. This means that IS will continue to use 300-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. On the other hand, European buyers can choose a smaller 241-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rates and delivery dates will be announced soon.
