Apple lowered prices, but only for Japan.
Apple hopes to increase sales in Japan by reducing the price of smartphones. Six months after the start of sales iPhone 6s and a month after the launch of the iPhone SE in the country, the company decided to reset the price of the flagship 10%.
According to Macotakara, the California giant has slashed the price of iPhone SE 5,000 yen (about $45) to the official Apple Store in Japan. Version with a storage capacity of 64 GB will now cost 59 800 yen, though on Thursday the price of the device was 64 800 yen.
The correction in prices has affected the flagship iPhone model. In particular, reduced the selling price of the iPhone 6s 8,000 yen and iPhone 6s Plus to 9 000 yen. 16-Gigabyte version of the iPhone 6s is now worth 78 yen instead of 800 86 800 yen. The Junior model in the line of iPhone 6s Plus fell from 98 to 89 800 yen 900 yen. iPhone 6 dropped in price 7 000 yen.
