Petro Poroshenko has held a working meeting with President of Indonesia Joko Widodo. It is known that the heads of state agreed to launch a consultation event regarding the free trade zone between the countries.
According to the President, Indonesia is an important political and economic partner for Ukraine.
The experts noted the high growth of trade turnover between the two countries. In particular, it concerns products of agriculture.
“Ukraine should become a platform for access to the European market for Indonesia. And at the same time, we believe Indonesia platform in a large Asian market”, – said Poroshenko.
The President noted the unstable situation in the world, therefore, considers cooperation in the military-defence sector of the two States.
Recall that Indonesia has decided to introduce visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
