President Petro Poroshenko believes one of the steps on the way of Ukraine to Europe, the study of Ukrainians in English. He stated this at a meeting with foreign volunteer English teachers program GoGlobal public organizations, the press service of the head of state.
“I would be very happy to have children from the occupied territories participated in the GoGlobal program. They are in terrible humanitarian conditions where there is no food, money, schools, kindergartens, pensions, medicine. The only thing they have is Russian propaganda. And when they get to our unoccupied territory, they will realize that Ukraine is very different. Therefore, your participation will also contribute to the return of peace to our land,” – said Poroshenko.
The President stressed that today Ukraine is changing, and holds a number of important reforms, and one of the steps on the way to Europe – Ukrainians study English.
Note, 2016 Ukraine declared the year of English.

GoCamps project, which was initiated by public organization GoGlobal and supported by the presidential Administration, the Ministry of education and the U.S. Embassy. In 2016 public organization GoGlobal selected 126 schools out of more than 500 that were submitted for the contest in Ukraine to participate in the project GoCamps.
