French carmaker Peugeot unveiled an electric scooter e-Kick. Manufacture of electric scooters from Peugeot to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The e-scooter Kick created to use it where the movement of cars is complicated. Thus, the electric scooter from Peugeot is designed for short distances, but not suitable for long trips. Li-ion battery e-Kick is charged within the hour and the motor integrated in the rear wheel of the scooter.

This means that the scooter will accelerate and maintain the speed, which the driver will set its aftershocks. The maximum speed of movement on the e-Kick is 25 km/h.
Brake system allows you to return part of the energy expended in braking back into the battery every time you use the brake pedal, which is located at the rear of the scooter. Peugeot estimates the cruising range of electric scooter 12 km, which in comparison with modern analogs is fairly small, but the e-Kick is so light: only 8.5 kg.
In addition, the electric scooter from Peugeot can be folded, allowing the owner of no problem to carry it with you.
