In Vyborg opened the 24th film festival “Window to Europe”, which runs until August 12. In the main competition of the show will feature 11 paintings, and in the framework of the documentary will show 22 films. Animated films program consists of 30 works in the contest co-production in participating this year, nine films produced by Russia together with other countries of the world.

Number of films shown in the festival “Window to Europe”, increasing every year. This time the festival offers five competitions and four out-of-competition lineup. Also at the festival will be the presentations of unfinished projects. The main symbol of this holiday movie was Lyudmila Gurchenko – in Vyborg in her honor organized a special exhibition. The jury of feature films competition is headed by Director and screenwriter Sergei Ursulyak, at the head of the competition documentary competition stood up the poet-bard Alexander Gorodnitsky, President of the jury of the program of animated films by the appointed winner of the festival Alexey Demin.
