We are talking about the preparation of the celebration of two 50th birthday: “AVTOVAZ” and its first model, the VAZ-2101. Festive events will start on 20 July 2016 and continue until 2020. Impressive amount the Ministry proposes to allocate from the Federal Treasury and the budget of the Samara region. The corresponding draft government regulation “On approval of the plan of main activities related to preparation and holding the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the release of the first car VAZ” the Ministry has already sent for approval to the Cabinet.
Festival decided to stretch from 2016 to 2020, when it will be celebrated on the second round date — the 50th anniversary of the VAZ-2101. The plan provides for the realization of cultural events in 2016-2020, and also measures on construction, reconstruction and capital repair of objects on the territory of Togliatti in the years 2016-2022, — reported in the Ministry of economic development.
On cultural-mass actions are expected to spend 44 million rubles. this includes the championship of working professions standards of WorldSkills Russia (RUB 15.8 million), an exhibition of photographs of the outdoors and a Museum exhibition dedicated to the round date (2.4 million rubles), the festival of sculptures “art Lada” (2 million rubles), exhibition of retro-cars VAZ (450 thousand RUB.), sports contests, car contests, and more.
The second and main part of the costs — construction, reconstruction and capital repair of facilities in Togliatti. In the six years of construction in a city, on a plan of officials, should be transformed. In particular, it is planned to reconstruct the embankment of the Avtozavodsky district (RUB 1.1 bn), to build an exhibition hall with a Park and fountain in honor of the 50th anniversary of “AVTOVAZ” (495,8 million rubles).
It is planned to build athletics arena (249,7 RUB million), Volga Orthodox Institute. of St. Alexis the Metropolitan of Moscow (576 million rubles)., to fix Togliatti state University (121,6 mln.). There will be two new schools and four kindergartens, three sports complex, children’s and adult clinics. In the list are for the reconstruction of the sports complex “Olympus”, “the Avengers”, the stadium “torpedo” and “Work”.
According to the plan, 2.7 billion rubles, the city will renew the Park of trolleybuses and buses. But the biggest new object should become a bridge across the Volga river from Togliatti and bypass road M-5 “Ural”. At it in total you need to spend 71% of all funds — 35 billion rubles.
The Ministry did not respond to a request of life, for whatever reason, Togliatti needs to obtain such a significant infrastructure investment. From January 2014 to January 2016 the number of employees of “AVTOVAZ” decreased from 72 thousand to 48 thousand people. — In the long run all the above activities and tasks aimed at improving the quality of life of inhabitants of Tolyatti, many of whom have devoted and continue to devote my life to working on “AVTOVAZ”. Togliatti hundreds of families working at the plant dynasties, — have responded in administration of the region.

According to experts, AVTOVAZ and Togliatti indirectly regularly get state money: in 2009-2011 in the framework of save the plant from bankruptcy, the company received a 75 billion interest-free loan. — All the vital steps of “AVTOVAZ” we see that this is a common budgetary institution, not designed for profit, but always covered by the budget of taxpayers. We now have two state of the trend: patriotism and the holidays. And in this sense surprising that the anniversary of “AVTOVAZ” will appear in both directions. Moreover, the validity of the provision is completely incomprehensible, for example, the replacement of public transport. — Now people tend to leave Tolyatti. They have no confidence in the future: authorities promise a stable wage growth and a guarantee that layoffs will not, and in fact the opposite is happening.
