The seven defendants in this case in two episodes is accused of embezzlement of 107 million rubles. According to investigators, during the four years of activities members of the criminal group managed to get abroad about $ 46 billion, and for all time of its existence — more than 75 billion dollars, with an annual turnover of around 1 trillion roubles.
Grigoriev is considered to be the head of one of the largest organized crime groups in Russia — it was attended by over 500 people and was used for about 60 Russian banks. Most of them have had their licenses revoked, but many are working now.
In November 2015 Alexander Grigoriev has been detained on suspicion in fraud in especially large size. Investigators suspected that Gregory was part of an organized group engaged in the destruction of the banks by withdrawing from them the most liquid assets, as well as the withdrawal of funds abroad through Moldova and the Baltic States
