World oil prices are rising. This is according to electronic trading on the London and new York exchanges.
Up to $43,78 per barrel rose October futures for light oil of mark WTI on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) (increase of 0.46%).
At the same time on London’s ICE Futures exchange futures for Brent crude oil with delivery in November increased 0.59% to $46,44 per barrel.
Traders continue to Express hope that major oil producers will agree to freeze production to support the market. OPEC members intend to discuss the potential limitation of production in the informal meeting on the sidelines of an International energy conference in Algiers on 26-28 September. At the same time, most analysts doubt that the upcoming session will conclude with the adoption of any measures for reducing the global overproduction.
