Oil prices rose on the data API and the message the U.S. Department of energy

Oil prices on Wednesday moderately rising on the background data of the American petroleum Institute (API) and data in anticipation of the U.S. Department of energy weekly oil reserves in the country.

As at 08.06 GMT the cost of the June futures for North sea petroleum mix of mark Brent rose by 0.50% to 40,05 dollars per barrel. Price of the may futures for WTI – by 0.71% to 38,55 USD per barrel, reports RIA “Novosti”.

According to the report of API, oil stocks in the U.S. last week rose by 2.6 million barrels, while the forecast 2 million barrels. The oil reserves in the country’s largest terminal Cushing (Cushing) declined by 0.3 million barrels, gasoline reserves – by 1.9 million barrels, while distillates by 0.09 million barrels.

Now in the spotlight of market players are the data about oil stocks in the USA from the Ministry of energy of the country, which will be published later on Wednesday. According to analysts, crude inventories for the week ended 25 March, increased by 3.3 million barrels to 535,8 million barrels. Last week the oil reserves in the U.S. last week rose by 1.8% to 532,5 million barrels.
