The Pacific ocean, scientists have found a previously unknown life forms that live in the area of the Clarion-Clipperton.
This deep-sea plain is located between California and Hawaii, and its depth is about four thousand meters. There is almost no light penetrates and the water temperature is only slightly above zero Celsius.
On the surface of the plains in the area of the Clarion-Clipperton oceanographers found 12 samples of living beings, seven of them were generally unknown to science, and the two represent not just a new species but a new genus or even family.
According to scientists, this biodiversity is linked to the uniqueness of the environment – abundance of manganese nodules.
