Nissan announced the start of sales of the unmanned vehicle

Nissan has equipped the minivan Serena a system of Autonomous control ProPILOT first generation. Thus, this model became the first Japanese cars with autopilot.

Autonomous control system when activated, takes control of brakes, accelerator and steering. If the car in front of “Serena” will start to slow down, the van also will slow down to a complete stop. In 2017, the ProPILOT system will appear on the European version of the crossover Qashqai. By 2018, there will be a system of the second generation, suggesting the possibility of lane change offline, and by 2020 will debut ProPILOT 3.0, allowing you to move in city traffic without a driver.
