Engineers Japanese engineering giant Nissan are working to develop electric versions of the popular throughout the world of crossovers Nissan Juke and Nissan Qashqai. This was reported in foreign journals for motorists, with reference to the information announced by officials of Nissan company.
The Japanese automaker said that at the present time cars Nissan take a leading position in the SUV segment and environmentally friendly cars. In this regard, the company management decided to combine two directions to show the world something new and the project has selected the Nissan Juke and Nissan Qashqai.
Officials of Nissan company recalled that, at the moment, all its electric cars are built on special chassis EV, however, might soon be the model that will form a fundamentally new platform. This, according to representatives of Nissan, and will be one of the following stages of development of the automaker.
The company also noted that the public Network has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the market is not sold compact vehicles powered environmentally friendly units. So this issue can be solved by Japanese automakers in the coming years
