The Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has published a leaflet for service users Pokemon Go, which aims to explain the main threats that they may encounter during the game and prevent a possible dangerous consequences.
The popularity of the service Pokemon Go has led to the emergence of a new range of threats associated with its use – the critical infrastructure, the lives and health of individuals. Quantitatively increased deaths with players Pokemon Go and becoming more diverse violations of law by them and concerning them, according to the website of the Ministry of interior.
Given the reality of threats to critical infrastructure, sensitive sites, the area of the ATO, public places due to lack of use of this service on the territory of Ukraine and security of ordinary citizens, the interior Ministry is ready to initiate the consideration at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, NSDC, the regulation of activities on the territory of Ukraine of such services, the report says.
The interior Ministry, using foreign experience of government response to incidents of Pokemon GO, “with the purpose of preventive action to prevent serious consequences for fans of the game”, has published an infographic with warnings for players. In particular, in a memo to players warning that during the game you can not go into private ownership, it is better not to use augmented reality in public places, should not be playing in the dark and you want to avoid scams.
