A historic deal may happen in the near future.
The US state Department approved the sale of a large batch of precision-guided munitions for the NATO partners. This is the first such transaction where NATO acts as the leading buyer for the troops of the different countries.
If the sale is approved by Congress, the weapons in the amount of $231 million sell Agency, the NATO support and procurement, and then distribute it in Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Spain.
In January 2015, the Agency for defense security cooperation, the United States began creating a two-year pilot program to determine whether the weapon can be sold directly to NATO in order to allow the partner countries to pool their resources and save money.
Under the agreement, the United States, in particular, NATO sell a few thousand sets of equipment that converts existing free-fall bombs into all-weather munitions that can be managed.
