Muscovite has withdrawn a lawsuit against Burger King on the promotion of religion

Muscovite angelina Ensina, demanding a total of six million rubles from the capital’s three restaurants for the imposition of religious views by advertising a vegetarian menu, withdrew the suit from court. On Friday, may 6, RIA Novosti reported. Among the defendants in the lawsuit were listed restaurant chain Burger King.

According to Ensinas, her goal was to draw attention to the problem of religious propaganda in a secular state. “To continue I see no sense in it,” she said, noting that the trial “requires money, time and nerves”.

A lawsuit in the Presnensky court of Moscow was submitted on 5 may. Ensina explained his action by the fact that the restaurant Burger King plagued her advertising meatless dishes. Ensina considered is the imposition of religious services and a form of discrimination against atheists. The petition also listed the capital’s restaurant “Suitcase” cafe and Simple pleasures.

On April 26 it was reported that the Muscovite Ivan Sergeyev sought to fast food chains McDonald’s 200 thousand rubles for the use in advertising of the institution of the poetry of his grandmother Adeline Adalis.
