Muscovite has filed a lawsuit against Burger King for “religious”menu

Angelina Ensina Muscovite has filed a lawsuit against three of the capital’s restaurants, including Burger King, “for imposing religion”. As reported on Thursday, may 5, RIA Novosti, the plaintiff wants to recover from the defendants for advertising a vegetarian menu six million rubles.

Anisina, according to her, is forced to dine at Burger King, because next to the office there are no other cafes or canteens. “Two of my favorite institutions — Siberian restaurant Chemodan and Simple pleasures introduced a meatless menu,” she complained.

Named restaurants, in her opinion, too actively advertise special dishes during lent. Ensina believes that “the imposition of religious services and a form of discrimination”.

In Burger King Agency city news “Moscow” has declared that do not intend to refuse the menu because of the claim of Muscovite.

In April of this year, Burger King has attracted the attention of public and authorities in advertising slogans “don amastris!” and “let us battered!”.
