Sergeant Anton Erygin was fatally wounded by a sniper’s bullet in Syria when he was there on a business trip. The military were engaged in laying cable in Palmyra.
According to relatives of the deceased Russian military, a bullet from a sniper rifle hit him in the head. The doctors tried for two days to save Anton Erygin, but all efforts were in vain – may 7, he died of wounds. Home of the murdered in Syria, the Sergeant was taken on may 11 through Mozdok, Rostov-on-don and Borisoglebsk. The funeral will be held today, may 12. Parting with the deceased Sergeant will be organized in the Northern district in the House of officers with 10 to 12 days.
Anton Erygin was born in a military family, and after graduation went into the army, and then began to serve under contract. He is survived by his wife. Sergeant Anton Erygin was 31 years old.
