Lukashenko has called the collapse of the Soviet Union global catastrophe

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has called the collapse of the Soviet Union a catastrophe for the whole world.

“I definitely consider the collapse of the Soviet Union as a catastrophe, which had and has negative effects throughout the world. Nothing good from the collapse we have not received”, – said Belorusskiye in a speech at Beijing University.

According to Lukashenko, what in Soviet times would have been impossible conflicts that are happening now in the middle East or Africa.

“Disappeared Soviet Union, and, you see, the world is ranged on the same support. I’m not judging here Americans, but the fact remains. Reliance one – and the world wobbles,” said the President of Belarus.
