Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev by unanimous decision dealt with Malawian Isaac Chilemba.
With the first round winner of the belts in the WBA/WBO/IBF took the initiative and methodically won round after round. In the seventh round Chilemba was knocked down, but was able to climb and hold on to the saving of the race.
Kovalev was repeatedly able to finish ahead of the fight, but Chilemba has demonstrated a vitality and became only the second boxer in 2010, managed in battle with the “Crusher” to tide you over until the final race.
