A new cameraphone from Kodak Ektra is focused on enthusiasts of mobile photography.
Kodak is a legendary manufacturer of photographic equipment with a rich history, which is almost irrelevant in the modern world of photography. And on October 20 Eastman Kodak 20 Oct introduced a smartphone running the Android OS, designed primarily for photographers.
Model Kodak Ektra, so named in honor of the camera’s 1941 release, made in an unusual style reminiscent of the old photo apparatus. In particular, black back panel has a coating that mimics the texture of the skin. And the bottom of the smartphone is curved like the arm in the old cameras. Behind all this lies a very modern image sensor resolution Sony IMX230 21 Megapixel and a six-element lens with a maximum aperture of F/2.0.
In addition, for the Kodak Ektra has developed a special application Scene Selection Dial, allowing you to quickly switch between different shooting modes. In the list of modes are HDR, Landscape, Portrait, Macro, Sport, Night-time, Panorama, and Bokeh. The smartphone also comes preloaded with the Super 8 app that allows you to effects, like when shooting on a film camera, Kodak Super 8.
The smartphone has got IPS display diagonal of 5 inches and 1920×1080 pixels, decategory Helio X20 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory.
First, the device will go on sale in the UK and will be sold at a price of 450 pounds – about $ 550.
