Kerry called topics of discussion with Russian leaders during his visit

U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry during his visit to Moscow intends to discuss with Russian leaders the security challenges, the situation in the middle East and Ukraine, as well as a number of other important topics. He said this to RIA Novosti.

“Obviously, we will discuss the security issues, the middle East, Ukraine,” Kerry said, explaining what topics it plans to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Answering the question whether during the negotiations in Moscow to discuss some special topics, the Secretary of state said: “Many special”, not specifying what kind.

Currently Kerry accompanies President Barack Obama, 20-22 March visit to Cuba.

The visit of United States Secretary of state in Moscow will be held on 23-24 March, Kerry will hold talks with the foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

The Russian foreign Ministry earlier expressed hope that the visit of U.S. Secretary of state will contribute to the normalization of bilateral relations, “from the atmosphere which largely depends on the climate on the world stage”.
