The growth of oil production in Iran, halted for the last three months, reports Reuters, citing sources in OPEC. Oil production in June amounted to 3.64 million barrels per day, while in August to 3.63 million barrels a day.
Iran has started to increase production after the easing of Western sanctions that has become an obstacle to the implementation of the initiative of OPEC and Russia to freeze production levels.
Earlier, Tehran said that Iran first needs to regain market share that the country has lost for the time while he was under sanctions.
