In the investigation Department of the TFR in the Republic of Buryatia confirmed the discovery of the body of American student Colin Madsen, missing about a week ago. On Monday, 4 April, reported on the Agency’s website.
The victim was found the entrance search and rescue operations in the mountains about a mile from the village of Arshan (Tunka district of the Republic).
In the management of the UK noted that a visible damage on the body 25-the summer young man was not, which was with him the money and papers were intact. To determine the cause of death will be carried out it is judicial-medical examination. It also remains to be seen whether the victim used “alcohol, narcotic or other toxic and poisonous substances”.
“The investigation will have to establish the reasons why lightly dressed student left the guest house without telling my friends, and went to the forest”, — added in Department.
Earlier on 4 April that Madsen was found dead, said the head of the volunteer search and rescue team Dmitry Zavyalov.
On 1 April it was reported that the disappearance of the young man criminal case under article “Murder”.
The disappearance of Madsen became known on March 29. According to available information, a student in the night of Sunday, March 27, came out of the guest house and never came back. In Arshan, he arrived on holiday the day before, along with three fellow American and two residents of Irkutsk.
