“Ukravtodor” since June 1, prohibits the movement of trucks at temperatures above 28 degrees
The state Agency of highways (“Ukravtodor”) from June 1, 2016, imposes a restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles in the daytime at high temperatures.
As reported the press service of “Ukravtodor” with the beginning of the summer the movement of vehicles with a total mass more than 24 tons with a load of 7 tons per axle at a temperature of 28 degrees and above is prohibited on all roads of national importance. The ban will be in effect for the entire summer in the daytime from 10:00 to 22:00.
Such measures are necessary to ensure the safety of drivers and preservation of roads.
To inform drivers of freight transport on traffic restrictions on the roads have appropriate road signs and information panels. For temporary sludge of large vehicles along roads has trained more than 800 sites.
