TV channel of Russia reported about detention of the journalist at the airport of Istanbul.
Russian propaganda channel Ren TV reported the arrest of the journalist in Istanbul.
“The reporter Ren TV Valentine Trushnin sent by the editors to prepare the report about the attempt of a military coup in Turkey, was detained at the Istanbul airport. Contact with the journalist, lost for more than 10 hours”, – stated in the message channel.
According to the channel, earlier in the morning on the border with Turkey detained a film crew of Ren TV,a channel operator is not allowed into the country and sent a return flight to Russia. Then detained Trushina.
“He managed to send to us SMS-the message in which he wrote that he raided and took away documents”, – stated in the message.
It is reported that the TV channel has addressed in Embassy of Russia in Turkey and in the foreign Ministry with a request to help find out the whereabouts of the correspondent.
