Kaspersky lab discovered the first program-cipher, using the popular Telegram messenger to communicate with the attackers, described on the company website.
The malware encrypts text and image user files and demands money for the key to the cipher.
The company reported that it has found a cipher is essentially a bot Message. Its creators received from the messenger server a unique token that identificeret the bot, and put him in the body.
This bot maintains a connection with the attacker – he can tell him about the infection of the computer of the user from which you want to claim the money.
