“I would like to show you alpha version of the first part of Tomb Raider. At the moment it is impossible to interrogate the witnesses, but legends say that the developers made this version to represent the producers of the ability of the game engine,” said the author of the uploaded video.

In the alpha version implemented the possibility to target two different enemies with both guns that were not presented in the final version of the first part”.

The viewer alpha version should be obvious that jumping has changed in the full version of the game, their range has been reduced. Also Lara in the alpha version is not able to jump on the spot, instead she bends her knees and leaps forward in the style of “the Matrix”.

The first part of Tomb Raider was released in 1996 for PC, PlayStation 1 and Sega Saturn. In total, this engine was made in five parts, after which the developers started to improve the technology at an accelerated pace in the following six parts of the series. In 2007 he released Tomb Raider: Anniversary, which in fact is a complete remake of the first part. Fans of the original game can get it on mobile devices on iOS and Android.
