The Russian leadership believes former Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, one of the most successful members of the Cabinet and one of the best Finance Ministers in the world, so do not refuse his help, reported the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Naturally, Kudrin has excellent knowledge, he is one of the successful members of the Cabinet of Ministers in our country, this is one of the best Finance Ministers in the world, not only in Russia, so of course it would be wrong not to use his expertise to build this or other plans. Of course, this can only be welcomed, in what forms will it happen, I wouldn’t say it’s more his decision: to accept or not to participate in the work of various research organizations”, – said Peskov, RIA “Novosti”.
On the question whether the Kremlin direct offer Kudrin, Peskov said that “we never have any human cases do not discuss, do not announce and do not speak about these issues.”
Earlier media with reference to sources reported that Kudrin is going to write a new economic program to President Vladimir Putin. According to one source, Kudrin discusses with the President the formal possibility to write a program outside the government. Its preparation can be carried out at the Centre for strategic research, for that Kudrin may take one of the leadership positions.
Himself Kudrin announced that he was considering a job offer at the Center for strategic developments, but no plans to leave the Committee of civil initiatives. He also would have information that would write a new economic program for the Russian leadership. “This is an exaggeration. Are we talking just about the work of the expert Council on economic policy,” Kudrin said.
