South Korean company Samsung Electronics Co. on Saturday, October 1, resumed sales of its flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea after the scandal with the overheating and ignition of gadgets.
According to the Agency Yonhap, the first day has already sold 16 thousand phablets. According to forecasts by industry analysts, the company will continue to sell for 20 thousand Galaxy Note 7 a day.
Recall that the first sale of the smartphone was launched on 19 August, but was suspended in early September due to reports of spontaneous combustion of phones.
Earlier it was reported that on 10 September, the South Korean company Samsung has advised its users to turn off smartphones, Galaxy Note 7 and as quickly as possible to exchange them for new ones.
The reason such statements have a problem with the batteries of the new flagship, which may occur self-ignition of battery can result in explosion of the device. Samsung just counted 35 such cases.
