Karimov will be buried in his hometown
The plane with the body of the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov flew from Tashkent to Samarkand, where will his funeral.
On the eve of the government and Parliament of Uzbekistan said that the country’s President Islam Karimov died on 2 September at the age of 78 years.
Authorities also reported that Karimov will be buried in his native city — Samarkand. The country declared three days of mourning.
